Straight into your Contacts app
- Your contacts appear in the app you already use on iPhone and Mac, and update themselves there. It uses CardDAV, the standard Apple Contacts already speaks, so there is nothing extra to install.

Questions worth asking
- What can the other person actually see?
- Whatever you decided, and nothing else. Your name and photo are always visible to someone you share with. Work details, personal details, social profiles and dates are four separate groups, and each one is either open or something they have to ask you for. You can change your mind later, and it takes effect immediately — there is no copy of your details sitting on their phone that carries on working after you have said no.
- What happens if I stop paying?
- Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked. You keep your profile, your details keep syncing, and the people already following you carry on receiving updates. What Pro buys is following more than 25 people yourself; past that, without it, you see their names but not their details. Pro is S$0.99 a month or S$9.99 a year, and it cancels from the App Store or from Settings with no conversation.
- Can I leave, and take my contacts with me?
- Yes. Your contacts sync into Apple Contacts through CardDAV — the standard your phone already speaks — which means they are on your device, in the address book you already use, not only in ours. Deleting your Cardmunk account does not reach into your phone and remove them. There is no export button to hunt for because the export already happened, continuously, the whole time you were using it.
- Where does my data live?
- On servers in Europe, run by us rather than rented per-record from somebody else. We do not sell it, we do not build advertising profiles from it, and there is no third party we hand your address book to in order to make any of this work. If somebody sent you a link asking for your details and you would rather Cardmunk did not keep them, the same link takes them back — no account needed, no asking the person who asked you.
